Welcome, Elise!

Dear Parishioners,   

My name is Elise Lee and I am delighted to join the Our Lady of Sorrows staff and community as Lay Pastoral Associate for Family Life.   

In my life’s journey, I’ve been fortunate to call many different parts of the world home. My academic, professional and personal journeys have taken me across continents from South Korea and the US to Austria and Germany.   

 My husband and I have been actively involved in our home parish in the last few years since moving to Toronto and I began to sense a call to family ministry work within me as the chapters of our lives unfolded. It is this calling that has guided me to this parish and to all of you, and for this I am very grateful.    

In my role as LPA, I will be focused on building a holistic approach to family ministry – the spiritual, educational and community-based needs of OLS parish. This includes developing programs and events for all types of families to encounter Christ and grow as a community of faith.

As I get started here at OLS, I am excited about the prospect of meeting each and every one of you and getting to know your stories. I look forward to seeing you at Mass and at our upcoming events!
