The Archdiocese of Toronto's Volunteer Appreciation Week: Ignite Volunteerism will be celebrated from April 19 to 25, 2026, in alignment with Volunteer Canada's National Volunteer Week.
This is a time to celebrate every volunteer and the light they bring to our parish. When each of you answers God’s call with Isaiah’s words—'Here am I, send me'—you do more than meet a need; you ignite a spirit of service that spreads throughout our parish community. Together, these individual sparks grow into a collective flame, inspiring us all and shining a reflection of God’s love in everything we do.
We recognize that our volunteers are the core of our stewardship mission. Your willingness to say 'Send me' ignites our parish and sustains all our ministries. We thank each one of you, from the tireless work of Volunteer Screening Coordinators and Committee Members, Church Cleaners, Liturgical Hospitality Teams, Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, Choirs, Collection Counters, Ministry Leaders, to the faith-affirming efforts of Catechists, Lay Pastoral Visitors, and Baptismal Preparation teams, and so many other volunteers that answer God’s call.
We give recognition to our wonderful OLS volunteers who serve in our parish community and generously share their unique gifts and talents. THANK YOU!
Put your faith into action and serve our parish community. To learn about OLS Ministries, please see the Stewardship Journey.
