Advent begins on Sunday, December 1, 2024. 

Here are some events and resources for the whole family in preparation for the season.

Advent Celebration for Families: Saturday, November 30, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Parish Hall (Drop-in)

In joyful preparation for the Christmas Season, the OLS Family Life Ministry presents this event featuring: Craft activities for children and singalong with the OLS Children's Choir. No RSVP required, free-will offerings welcome.

Religious Education Advent Mass: Monday, December 9, 7:00 pm at OLS Church

You are invited to this special Mass for all students in the Religious Education program and their communities. It will be celebrated in the church and is open to all. Eucharistic Adoration and Confessions will commence afterwards.

In Yonder Stall Out-of-the-Cold Christmas Concert: Tuesday, December 17, 7:00 pm at OLS Church

The annual Christmas concert will support the Out-of-the-Cold program at All Saints Kingsway in assisting those less fortunate. Sing traditional Christmas carols with musicians and singers from the area. Free-will offerings appreciated. Donations over $20 will be receipted.

Advent Day of Confessions - Saturday, December 21, 2024

Two priests will be available each hour, from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm to hear confessions. In addition to English-language confessions by all priests, a number of priests are also available to hear confessions in other languages: French, Italian, Arabic, Polish and Spanish.
