Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the liturgical season of Lent - 40 days of prayer, fasting and almsgiving in preparation for Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Ashes will be distributed on Feb. 14 at the 9:00 am, 1:00 pm (school Mass) & 7:30 pm Masses. 

Stations of the Cross: Celebrated each Friday of Lent starting Feb. 16 at 9:30 am & 7:30 pm in the church.

Sacrament of Reconciliation:

Mondays from 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Fridays of Lent beginning Feb. 16, 2024 from 7:00pm to 7:30pm

Saturdays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm 

Lent Day of Confessions: Saturday, March 16 from 9:30am to 5:00pm

Parish Lenten Mission - "Pledge of Future Glory" with Fr. Luke John Leighton, CFR and Fr. Juan Diego Sutherland, CFR from the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal.

Monday, March 18 to Wednesday, March 20

Make a plan to join our OLS Parish Lenten Mission over three evenings from 7:30pm to 8:45pm in the church. 

Confessions at 7:00pm

Adoration

No cost to attend.  Free will offering appreciated.

Holy Week Schedule

Tenebrae - Tuesday, March 26, 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm

Tenebrae conveys the sorrow of Holy Week through reflective music. The scripture readings will be read by our lectors and the nine responsories will be sung by MOSAIC, the OLS choir and the gentlemen of the St. Michael's Choir School Alumni.

All are invited to attend this service of light through darkness on Tuesday of Holy Week.
