Attending Mass

In March 2020 Cardinal Collins granted dispensation from Sunday obligation due to the pandemic.  The easing of health & safety restrictions in parishes removes the basis for this dispensation and it is no longer in effect.

We invite and encourage everyone to return to the practice of attending Mass in-person.

The church now has 100% seating capacity.  Physical distancing is no longer required. Wearing of mask in church is optional. Parishioners are invited to continue wearing a mask based on their personal circumstances.

Parishioners are reminded to be respectful and understanding of others who may continue to wear their masks. Everyone is encouraged to be hospitable to members who are returning back to church.  We want to ensure that we continue to have a welcoming environment for one another, free of judgement.

If individuals, based on their conscience, cannot attend Mass for a grave reason, including a great vulnerability to COVID-19 or due to self-isolation to limit the spread of illness, they are excused,  as the law of the Church allows.
