Registration Information

Registration Deadline:  October 16, 2026

The program fee is $80 per child and helps cover the cost of formation materials and program expenses.

Payment is completed online during registration.

If the program fee presents a financial hardship for your family, please contact us. No child will be denied participation for financial reasons.

Registration is considered complete once:

  • The online registration form has been submitted.
  • The required Baptism Certificate has been uploaded (if applicable).
  • Payment has been received.

Important Dates & Schedule

Preparation sessions take place on Sundays at 1:45 p.m. in the parish hall.

Families are encouraged to attend the 12:30 p.m. Mass before each session and remain afterward for preparation. Participating in Mass and formation on the same day helps children connect what they are learning directly to the Eucharist and strengthens their connection to parish life.

No Baptism Certificate is required.

If your child was baptized at another Catholic parish

You will be asked to upload a copy of your child's Baptism Certificate during registration.

Please also bring the original Baptism Certificate to the Teaching Mass and Parent Orientation for verification. Program materials will be distributed after verification has been completed.

Attendance Expectations

Sacramental preparation is an important part of helping children understand and appreciate the gifts of Reconciliation and the Eucharist.

Because each session builds upon the previous one, families are expected to participate fully in the preparation process.

Children who miss two or more preparation sessions will normally be asked to defer the celebration of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion until the following year, after completing the preparation process.

We understand that illness, family emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances can arise. If your child is unable to attend a session, please contact us as soon as possible.

Group Assignments & First Communion Registration

Following the registration deadline, children will be assigned to either Group A or Group B based on alphabetical order.

Parents will be notified of their child's group by email shortly after registration closes.

Registration for First Holy Communion Masses will open shortly after the registration deadline. Families will receive instructions by email when registration becomes available.

First Holy Communion Masses are assigned on a first come, first served basis

To help foster a prayerful and meaningful celebration within our regular Sunday parish liturgies, each First Communion Mass can accommodate up to eight First Communicants and their families

We encourage families to register promptly once Mass registration opens.

Parent Commitment

By registering your child, you commit to:

  • Participating actively in your child's sacramental preparation.
  • Attending the Teaching Mass and Parent Orientation.
  • Supporting your child's participation in the preparation sessions.
  • Making Sunday Mass a priority.
  • Encouraging prayer and faith conversations at home.
  • Reviewing the materials provided and accompanying your child throughout the year.
