All Saints Day Mass - Friday, November 1, 9:00 am
All Souls Day Mass - Saturday, November 2, 9:00 am
Please join us in prayer during this special Mass next Saturday as we light a candle and call out the name of each parishioner whose funeral was held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in the past year.
Let us take time to celebrate the lives of our loved ones who have died in the Lord.

Book of Remembrance - You are invited to add the names of family and friends into the Book of Remembrance, located in front of St. Joseph’s altar. Prayers will be offered for all names included in the book, at all Masses during the month of November.
Lest We Forget: Let us also commemorate the sacrifices made by those who bravely served our country.
Remembrance poppies are available in the parish office. Poppies are a symbol of remembrance and gratitude for our fallen heroes who dedicated their lives for our future.

Veterans want Canadians to understand the price of freedom. They are passing the torch to the people of Canada, so the memory of their sacrifices will continue, and the values they fought for will live on in all of us.
The act of Remembrance is one of the most important ways to honour and thank Veterans for their sacrifices.
The Royal Canadian Legion is committed to ensuring Canadians never forget. We remember Canadian Veterans from all conflicts, as well as those who have made sacrifices on the home-front. Our mission is to ensure Canada never forgets the sacrifices of our Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP, Peace Officers, Merchant Navy, and Reserves. We also remember our military families— the mothers, fathers, sons and daughters of Canadian Veterans.
